Angel

5 yr old female dwarf lop who sadly suffers very badly from a disease called Pasturella and has to be on daily antibiotics in order to keep the disease under control. Angel joined us on 17th September 2004 along with her sister Button. Angel, like the others here with pasturella, has good days and bad days. Angel is a very naughty little bunny who likes nothing more than to make a complete mess of her hutch. She loves attention and especially likes to be fed first or there is big trouble and noise!!

Bella

Bella is a 1 yr old mini lop, a very shy little girl that likes to lead a quiet life. She likes to be stroked but hates being handled or picked up.

Bernie

Bernie is 2 1/2 years old and suffers from full blown pasturella and has been on permanent antibiotics now for over 3 months, sadly at the moment they don't seem to be working. He constantly sneezes and has recently had breathing difficulties which involved a trip to the vets.

Billy

Billy is a 5 year old agouti dwarf lop that could be Chester's baby brother!! He is currently being treated for an eye infection and oral antibiotics as he is showing symptoms of pasturella.

Blossom

Blossom is a very friendly 5 yr old dwarf lop, sadly though Blossom has paraylsis on the left side of her face and also a large cyst in her right groin which has to be aspirated every two months or so. Blossom was left at a local veterinary practice.

Boogie

Boogie is now 4 years old and was born here at the centre. Sadly Boogie has some temperment issues and so can't be rehomed.

Bubble

Bubble is now 5 years old and sadly can't be rehomed due to behaviour issues. She's a lovely little girl that just likes to be left alone.

Buster

Buster is now 6 1/2 years old and is such a lovely character. He causes trouble and noise wherever he goes. Buster has serious eye issues that leaves red weepy open sores on the skin around his eyes. He also has pasturella. A while ago Buster had an operation on his eye to help him. No matter how poorly he is Buster always comes to you for cuddles and fuss.

Sadly Buster died 30/12/09 after a long fight with illness. He will be missed so very much

Chester ''The Mascot''

Chester is nearly 6 years old and is such a wonderful bunny that's loved so much by us all. A few years ago Chester was so ill he was to be put to sleep because no medication or treatment was helping his pasturella. After a lot of thought, Chester's medication was stopped and he hasn't looked back since. That was 5 years ago. Chester is the centre's mascot and has raised well over £1500.

Chester left us for the Rainbow Bridge on 23rd Feb 2010. I will miss you so much mydarling bunny.

Dolly

Dolly is a 1 year old sooty fawn mini lop that came to us after being attacked and badly injured by another rabbit. Her right front leg is deformed and she can no longer use it. Dolly is such a loving little bunny. She is on permanent pain killers and regular check-ups.

Eve

Eve is a beautiful 4 year old chinchilla gigantica squirrel cross. She's a beauiful girl that is allergic to hay!! Yes she has allergies. Her bedding has to be dustfree and extruded to minimise her sneezing. She's a grumpy ole girl too!!

Heidi ''ole timer''

Heidi is 9 years old!!! She's here as her owner currently is unable to look after her. She had flystrike back in April but made a remarkable recovery. Now she has lost some much needed wirght she can really get about.

Louie

Louie is a beautiful blue mini lop that's sadly going blind. he's nealry 2 years old but has a disease called E Cuniculi. He has already lost the sight in his left eye and is now going blind in his right eye. He's a lovely little boy that thrives on attention. He loves nothing morethan to have his nose rubbed and kissed everytime you walk past.

Lucky

Lucky was rescued from a pet shop in August 2003 and was suffering from severe stomach stasis cause from being taken away from his mother too early. He was not expected to live being so small but nearly 6 years on he is still with us. He has grown a little more and has become a very affectionate and happy bunny who loves to play. Lucky has had to have treatment for an eye infection and is now doing really well.

Misty

Misty is a beautiful 8 month old chocolate otter mini lop. Sadly when Misty jined us at 8 weeks old back in April she was so stressed that we nealry lost her. She has diarrhoea and mucoid enteritis which nealry killed her. Some home she pulled through and is such a strong little bunny that now loves her veggies!! Sometimes called ''Hannibal'' !!!

Munchkin

Munchkin is Chester's brother and nearly 6 years old. Munchkin has dental issues and every 2 months has to go the vets to have his teeth burred down. He is due his next dental on 21/10/09 at a cost of £65.00

Rita

Rita is 7 years old and here at the centre because her owner could no longer look after her. We have to monitor Rita's diet very carefully because she is prone to sticky bottom.

Sam

Sam is our beautiful harlequin and now 7 years old, Sam has been with us now for 6 years. When he arrived he couldn't be handled, stroked let alone picked up and held. After many months of patient handling and gentleness he will now let us stroke him but still hates to be handled. He's adorable and we love him dearly.

Sadly Sam passed away at 3.55pm on 06/03/2010. Sleep well my little man you suffering is finally over.

Smudge

Smudge is a charming little bunny that joined the centre at 2 weeks old. He was hand reared after being attacked by his mother. Sadly this has left Smudge with tummy issues. Every so often poor Smudge suffers from diarrhoea. He is now 3 years old. Sadly even though Smudge was habd reared he hates to be handled.

Sunnie

Sunnie is a beautiful bunny that looks very much like Smudge. Sunnie is about 4 years old When Sunnie joined us his front teeth were in such a bad way that after numerous monthly clips were removed. He has done so well since having his front teeth removed that he's now on a diet!!

Suzy

Suzy is a lovely little dutch bunny, that joined SRR as a baby. Suzy is now 5. Suzy has pasturella and so will remain here at the centre. She's a very sweet little bunny but can be very shy and timid.

Tim

Tim a beautiful 3 year old mini lop sadly has teeth issues, he joined he centre early November. After a health check it was discovered he had some very bad back teeth, a dental was done on him on 30//11/09 at a cost of £93.00

Toffee

Toffee is a 5 years old dwarf lop and is completley blind. She has cataracts on both eyes. She also has full blown pasturella. This doesn't slow her down though, as long as you leave her bowl in the right place and call her she will find it and all her veggies!!

Whisky

Whisky is a 4 year old chocolate standard rex, like all rexes Whisky has sore hocks caused by the fur on his feet being very thin. The fur on rexes feet is very thin compared to normal furred bunnies. Whisky is therefore on special soft bedding and a diet!!
