From Sue Collecting old/broken mobile phones and selling them you can send them
of to places like Mazuma who will give you money for them, maybe you
could put a notice on your website & facebook pages? Collecting used toner cartridges I know a lot of charities do this so I asume they sell them on. Ask local DIY stores to donate supplies you will need for your work/newbuilding. Ask local tradesmen or whoever is quoting to see if they can supply some sort of free labour even if it was only an hour or so. Have
an open day and charge people to come and have a raffle etc to raise
money, I'd come and I'm sure loads of other people who have rehomed or
sponsered your buns would too. Have a volunteer day when the work is
under way for everyone you know and all your sponsors/rehomers to come
along at the weekend and help put together your new set up, I'd come
along and am a dab hand with a paintbrush so could help with any
painting/treating of wood or cages. more ideals to follow..... |
