The centre is open most times and visitors are welcome. The centre has been here 11 years and in that time we have re-homed over 1500 + rabbits & guinea pigs. All money received from re-homes and sponosrhip is put straight back into the rabbits for their care and well being.

If anybody out there feels that the centre is asking for money without due cause please email and i will arrange for you to come over and SEE the centre for yourself. You can meet the sick rabbits and any of the rabbits here looking for homes.

Ask any question you like, BUT rudeness and aggression WILL NOT be tolerated.

2 quotes from builders have failed to arrive so i'm now ging to have to start again and find some other builders who will quote us for the new shed base. Obviously don't need the business!!

The quotes (bar 1) are all now in, so it's just a case of sitting down and sorting out the form and attaching all the relevant paperwork. Photos etc and quotes need to be scanned and added to paperwork etc.

Just waiting on the Echo now to do a bit for us!!

Collecting old/broken mobile phones and selling them you can send them of to places like Mazuma who will give you money for them, maybe you could put a notice on your website & facebook pages?

Collecting used toner cartridges I know a lot of charities do this so I asume they sell them on.

Ask local DIY stores to donate supplies you will need for your work/newbuilding.

Ask local tradesmen or whoever is quoting to see if they can supply some sort of free labour even if it was only an hour or so.

Have an open day and charge people to come and have a raffle etc to raise money, I'd come and I'm sure loads of other people who have rehomed or sponsered your buns would too.

Have a volunteer day when the work is under way for everyone you know and all your sponsors/rehomers to come along at the weekend and help put together your new set up, I'd come along and am a dab hand with a paintbrush so could help with any painting/treating of wood or cages.

Bunnyhouse re-vamp update

We've now had 2 different builders in to give us quotes on laying a concrete base for the new building and also sorting out the patio. Just waiting to hear back from them.

Two more tree surgeons have been in and given us quotes of £672 & £750. Another coming today that currently has a 25% winter discount offer going!!! Will update again soon once all the prices have come through. Also going to contact a few shed companies to get some prices,was quoted £5000 for one the other day!!

Not much news regarding Bunnyhouse, have another tree surgeon arriving Monday for another quote. Just hoping we get the funds we desperately need.

Most of the pregnant Mum's have now given birth and so far having a quick look at the nests we have about 19 babies ranging now from 42 days old (Biggles the orphan) to the youngest about 6 days old.

Biggles is now 42 days old, he's turning into a real cheeky little lad who seems to be loving life. Pictures to follow on all babies as soon as we are able.

News so far......

We've now received one quote on removal of both trees £504.00, another tree surgeon due next week for further quote.

Spoken to Evening Echo in the hope they will run an advert for us to help.

No replies from my advert on Facebook for anybody who can lay concrete. Any offers please.....!!!

Had a fair few people volunteer to help with ground clearance - thank you all so very much.
